We are a small business, just like you.
We envision a digital path forward for small businesses.
Our founder
The journey to the beginning of Cascadia Concepts started decades ago. I grew up with both parents owning small businesses. I witnessed the dedication, multitasking, and resilience required to make a business successful. I saw how they often juggled multiple roles and how specialized help, while critical, wasn’t always within reach.
Later I worked with businesses of all sizes, in SaaS software for both B2B and B2C companies. I continued to see small businesses struggling while the corporations I worked for underutilized their available talent. I helped where I could, but my small hours of time were not enough.
So I took a leap of faith - I started CC. Our mission is to provide personalized solutions that empower every business to focus on what they do best, and to do so in a way that is a net positive to the small business community.
We’re here to help you navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of your business. I look forward to working together and supporting your journey.
About the company
-
We are a diverse group of technology experts that have worked in a range of verticals, such as retail, fitness, education, government, and the medical industry. We have all collectively decided to work for small business interests, and most of us have a history of small business ownership in our families.
-
The company is officially located in Washington, in the United States. We utilize expert freelancers throughout the US that all work remotely. Remote work is highly important to us as it allows our freelancers to work flexibly, respond quickly, and it keeps our overhead costs down.
-
No. We are a team of freelancers organized together. Traditional consulting companies come into your business and advise on your strategy, management, processes, even software and tell you where you can be more efficient and change things to save money/cut costs. Many times they charge you thousands/millions of dollars to tell you to cut employees.
We do not focus on how you are organized or what your process is (unless we think it is grossly inefficient - then we may make a suggestion). We focus on you. What can we automate? What do you do daily that we can automate so you can focus on something else? What software do you pay subscriptions on? Are there free alternatives? How can we make life easier for you?
-
Everyone at Cascadia Concepts has been something else before being "in tech." We have an ex-teacher, a former personal trainer, a former soldier, etc. This allows our team members to work from multiple points of view.
-
Honesty and family. Apologies in advance if you try to reach us between Christmas and New Years because it's typically family time for all of us.
